The Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center is a focal point for visitor orientation. The multiple facilities offer information and interpretation about recreation opportunities, geology, wildlife, and much more.
Come join naturalists Liz and Jen V. on a walk around the Moenkopi. We will explore the adaptations that helped plants survive in this harsh environment and the role they played in helping sustain human life. We will also look at the plant’s properties and common uses, such as how they were utilized for food, clothing, shelter and medicine. Moderate, 2.5 miles. Ages 15+. Limited space/reservations required. For more information or to register, please call (702) 515-5367.
