Join geologist Nick S. and naturalist Leah D. on a three-mile hike from the trailhead on Route 159, where we will see and discuss the geology, plants and wildlife encountered along the trail. The “grotto” is a cool little waterfall and pool carved in the Triassic Shinarump Conglomerate. Moderate, 3 miles. Ages 10+. Limited space/registration required.
